This is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. And one of the largest fully preserved castle complexes as well. Its construction started in 1077. Massive walls and dotted towers, erected atop a hill, dominate theOld city of Salzburg.

This castle complex dates from the 9th century and is the largest ancient castle in the world. It is one of the most popular tourists attraction in Prague. Throughout ages it was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czech Republic.

Perfect example of a medieval brick castle, Malbork belonged to Teutonic Order. This largest castle in the world and the largest brick building in Europe was built in the 13th century. It is truly one of the most impressive places in the whole Europe!
