Italy is a unique country where you can find everything — from rich historical and cultural heritage to an amazing untouched nature. Sand beaches, ancient villages, different resorts and unique Mediterranean atmosphere… This time we were inspired by Italian lakes. They are real natural wonders that always leave unforgettable impression!
Lake of Ceresole
This artificial lake appeared in 1925-1932 in the province of Torino after a hydroelectric power station and a dam were constructed. It is rather small comparing with other Italian lakes, but unbelivably picturesque!

Predil Lake
This scenic lake is located on the border of Italy and Slovenia. There are no shops, hotels or bars around in order to keep this unique ecosystem safe. You can get there by alpine road only.

Iseo lake
It is the fourth largest lake in Lombardy. It is fed by the Oglio river. There’s no industry around. The crystal clear lake, surrounded by lush greenery, is the most precious of untouched natural wonders.

Orta Lake
You can find it in the north part of the country, near the lake Maggiore. It has typical Italian coastline, surrounded by picturesque villages. In the middle of the lake there’s an island with amazing historical buildings.

Lake of glacial original covers an area of 146 sq km. It’s the third largest lake in Italy and one of the most famous lakes in the world.
