He spent two days filling the balloons with helium. Then he flew 25 kilometers across South Africa (VIDEO)
Tom Morgan, 38, decided to go to Botswana. But he has chosen a very unusual way to do that, despite weather problems which forced him to change the route. Tom spent two days filling the balloons with helium. Then he adjusted them to a camping chair and… soared into the sky. He reached the heights of 2400 meters and flew 25 kilometers across South Africa!
According to Tom, the biggest problem was a good weather. He also pointed out, that it was difficult to protect the balloons as they kept bursting. Anyway, he managed to go up into the sky, where he spent two hours. The flight was successful, although due to the strong wind Tom had to land a bit earlier than he planned to. No doubt that Tom described his flight as “magical”.
