Rome reborn: 3D digital model of Ancient Rome in 320 AD (VIDEO)
Thanks to modern computer technologies and painstaking work of dozens of specialists, scientists managed to create the computer model of the capital of the Roman Empire as it probably looked in 320 AD.
Researchers and technicians spent about 10 years creating this three-dimensional excursion into history. Several higher education institutions from the United States, Italy and France shared their knowledge about this period of time. It helped much to complete the project.
The result of their work is an excellent video where Ancient Rome appears in all its glory. In addition to the authentic architecture of the houses of the time, it is possible to consider in detail such famous buildings as the Colosseum, the Imperial Palace, etc.
