It seems like a tile company from Manchester has found the most creative way to make people visit their showroom. Once you enter, you will be immediately confused with a perfectly made optical illusion. Does this floor look like it has a hole in it? It does, but in fact it’s perfectly flat!

Duncan Cook and Matthew Armstrong, the owners of Casa Ceramica, decided to astonish their customers with a unique floor. So they choose an effect of uneven surface

“The inspiration was to create an entrance themed on illusions and exceed expectations of how tiles can be used”, says company’s representative.

Another reason for this unusual solution is also quite simple. People usually dashed into the showroom through the hallway and didn’t notice illustrations made by local artist on the walls. These pictures were inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Tony Walsh poetry.

In order to prove that the tiles are real and just laid in a special way, the process was shown

The result is really astonishing. This floor causes a vertigo!
