Stefan Baumann is a Vienna-based self-taught photographer who likes to explore abandoned places. These forgotten spaces once were prosperous mansions, luxurious palace, medieval churches or even simple houses of ordinary people. They were full of life, and now just the wind blows between old walls. Sometimes his pictures look like a scene from a horror movie. And sometimes the places are still so luxurious that you can imagine the owner welcoming his guests in a hall. Anyway, this special atmosphere will always strike the imagination.
