“I am more than cellulite”: plus-size model share her photos without aftertouch
It doesn’t matter at all how much do you weigh, what size of clothes do you wear and in what shape your body is. You will obviously find one willing to criticize your appearance.
It is very important for a woman to be self-confident and positive about her body. So lots of them start to rebuff all those well-wishers. One of the problems is that no matter how you see the beauty of other people, it is very difficult to consider your own. Sophie Turner, a plus-size model, knows this firsthand.
Some time ago she shared a photoshoot that shows… her cellulite! First it was hard for her even to look at those pictures without aftertouch. But later she realized how important these images are for the women like she.
That is how Sophie commented on this: “I done a photoshoot yesterday And these are some behind the scenes pictures – I was angry when I seen this pic because Of my cellulite – It was on my mind but why should it?”
“It’s natural for us ladies to have cellulite and we need to stop seeing it as disgusting or ugly”
“Yes we all want smooth skin but we also need to accept reality! I’ve had cellulite since I was about 12 which is normal”
“After living with something for a decade it’s all apart of being me! And I’m still learning to love it and not hate it- it’s a slow road to #selflove but it’s the best thing you can do for your confidence and mental health”
Everyone who saw Sophia’s pictures, loved her inspiring statement. One of the woman even wrote that Sophie is perfect. Together with her cellulite!
“There’s nothing wrong in it,” another woman added. “Beauty is versatile, and only some people can see it. Be proud you managed to do that”
Cellulite is a widespread phenomena. Sooner or later almost every woman faces it. But there’s no reason to be ashamed of it — that is Sophie’s strong position. What do you think about it?
