This bridge is a real nightmare for drivers. Would you dare to cross it?
There are not so many dangers in Maryland. But if you ask the locals what is the scariest place to drive, you will get one and the same answer: Chesapeake Bay Bridge. It is not without reason that this one is considered to be one of the scariest bridges in the world.

There’s no way to escape in case of emergency. The bridge is 6946 meters long and at its highest point the road rises above the bay for 57 meters. It will take a long time to fall down…
The drivers become very nervous when they approach to the bridge and see the cars aligned along the road. It’s a difficult place for driving and traffic jams at the entrance only increase the alarm. But they are a usual thing here because the bridge is very narrow

The accidents with the cars happened here as well. In most cases a quietly driving car had been crashed from behind and as a result it has fallen down into the water

If the necessity to cross the bridge still causes panic, some people may solve the problem just for 30 dollars! They will simple pass you across this scary route by your car. They claim that you can relax and enjoy the stunning views from the passenger’s seat. I wonder, do their passengers manage to do that?
