Up and down Angels Landing: spectacular hiking trail that goes along a chain bolted to a cliff (VIDEO)
Angels Landing is a spectacular rock formation in Zion National Park. At the Grotto drop off point there starts a spectacular hiking trail. It was cut in the solid rock back in 1926. Despite the route is rather dangerous, it still remains very popular among the visitors of the park.
The trail is 3,9 km long with an approximate 460 m elevation gain. Chain-assisted rock scrambling sections, stunning views, vertigo-inducing heights… But once you get to the top, you will immediately forget about all the difficulties. It’s the best experience ever!
