An amazing blue hole is discovered in the Great Barrier Reef (VIDEO)

A new underwater wonder was recently discovered near the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Johnny Gaskell, marine biologist, has suddenly spotted it on Google Maps.

Gaskell reports about a blue hole, which is at around 15 to 20 meters deep. It is quite similar to the famous Great Blue Hole in Belize, but not as big. Anyway, it is unique as well!

The biologist and his team still keep the location of their discovery in secret. Thus it would be at least for some time protected from crowds of divers and tourists. But Gaskell managed to film the amazing place from inside. It is covered with huge coral colonies and is really a unique spot. The investigation of the wonder will surely take some time, but meanwhile we can enjoy an amazing video!
